Surface cleaning: RBM – Accurate anti-contamination cleaning system, patented by Straumann, which reduces the risk of residual contamination after classic SLA treatments to 0.003%. The surface is treated with a double cleaning using resorbable sandblasting media (hydroxyapatite and other calcium phosphates).
Triple final cleaning with light acid (Lifecore patent) that makes the implant extremely PURE, reducing osteointegration time by half and lowering the bacterial load that can form in the apical part after an extraction post. Some slides follow.
