The patient, in his fifties, had lost his teeth. Immediately after the extraction, implants were placed and different Multi-unit systems were chosen. The Multi-unit systems were chosen so that the screw channels were parallel and in an occlusal direction. The angled Multi-unit has a support that helps to predict the angle of the future screw channel.
Immediately after the assembly of the Multi-units, the scan bodies were mounted on the Multi-units.
For straight Multi-units, V-Type Multi-units were chosen, while for angled ones, D-Type were used.
The V-Type has a smaller cone and the hexagon is inside the Multi-unit, a more suitable option when there is not enough interocclusal space and gives more thickness to the zirconia, thus reinforcing the crown.
The D-Type has a larger cone and an angled version that has the same sleeve.
After taking the impression, a bridge was modeled using Exocad software.
Conclusions
A provisional bridge made of PMMA was created. Different sleeves were cemented for both the V-type and D-type.
